Guv to inaugurate replica of statue of Ulgulan

Ranchi, Nov 12: Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu would be on Monday unveiling the replica of Statue of Ulgulan in a function to be held here which would be chaired by AJSU party supremo and former Deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahto.

Those who would be also present on the occasion would also include the great grand son of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Sukhram Munda and party MLAs Ramchandra Sahis and Vikas Munda, Padamshri Mukund Nayak and Simon Oraon.

The 150 feet statue of ulgulan would be built in Pradhan Nagar of Bundu for which the foundation laying function has been completed. A decision to erect the stue was taken during a Birsa Janpanchayat held at Ulihatu on November 15, 2016.

To realize the decision an Ulgulan foundation was formed after the function. The party said that it wanted to make sure that the people of the world know the bravery, ideals and teachings of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
