Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday paid tributes to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary and extended their best wishes to the people on the occasion of Mahaveer Jayanti.
The duo also reached Ambedkar Chowk located in Doranda and garlanded the statue of Baba Saheb. In his message on the occasion of Mahaveer Jayanti, the Governor said that Bhagwan Mahaveer had given the message to the society to follow the path of truth and nonviolence.
On the birth anniversary of Dr. Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Chief Minister Hemant Soren that the constitution of India is not only a book but a holy script that is also responsible for providing the rights to the poor and exploited.
Greeting the people on the occasion of Mahaveer Jayanti he said that Bhagwan Mahaveer preached the message of truth, non-violence and humanity. He said that the ideals of Bhagwan Mahaveer give the inspiration to make a healthy and prosperous society.
