Govt to formulate placement policy: Raghubar

Ranchi, May 23: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that his government was committed to get rid of child labour, migration and illiteracy from the state.

He said that the stater was working with full honestly to realise the Prime Minister’s vision of making India the Vishwa Guru and said that soon a placement law would be passed in the state. He said that the government was working for the skill development of the children who are studying in class 9.

 

He said there are a total of 18,000 orphan children in the state who would be taught by the state government while for children in the age group of 14-15 years would be made skilled for whom two centers are being set up in Gumla and Ranchi.

 

The Chief Minister said that despite being born in MP the work place of Mr Kailash Satyrthi has been Jharkhand and asked the people to draw inspiration from his life. He said that despite being rich in mineral and natural resources the people of the state were poor and despite 70 years of Independence the situation has not improved.

 

He said that the government over the last two years has fixed targets and worked and said that thousands children even today migrate from the state. He said with the measures like Bal Samagam and Bal Sansad effort was being made to  bring out the talent of the students. He said that the government was working with honesty to check migration, rehabilitation, skill development and education. He said that by promoting investment and industries efforst were being made to make the poor economically strong.

 

The Chief Minister said that when he was the labour minister of the state than many raids were conducted and children rescued from child traffickers and labou. He said that as the mukhiya of the state he was trying to ensure the rights of the children of the state.
