Ranchi: The players of Godda district KS boys and girl’s category, who won the 8th state level sub-junior netball competition, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday.
Players told the Chief Minister that Godda team has won the title in both boys and girls categories of the traditional and fast five sub junior championship of netball held in Ghaghra, Gumla.
The Chief Minister congratulated all the players for this achievement and congratulated them for better performance in future. The Chief Minister said that our government is committed to promoting sports and players.
In this connection, sports grounds are being developed in Panchayats. Players are being provided sports kits and other facilities through Sido-Kanhu Club. The youth here are shaping their future in sports and are bringing glory to the state and the country with their performance.
Godda District Netball Team coach Monalisa Kumari, Secretary Gunjan Kumar Jha, Umpire Shivram Krishna Dehri, Dumka District Netball Association Secretary Mohammad Hakim and Kuldeep Kumar Ravi were present on the occasion.
