Ranchi: Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra on Sunday asked the state government to change the time for taking out a procession during the Ramnavmi festival.
Participating in the meeting of Mahaveer Mandal Ranchi Mahanagar at the Chamber Bhawan the mayor said that there are many flaws in the relaxations which have been announced by the state government and they should be addressed as soon as possible. Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargyee said that the Municipal Corporation has made arrangements for cleaning across the capital for the festivals of Sarhul and Ramnavmi.
Chairman of the Chamber Dheeraj Taneja said that if any of the Akharas will face any problem then the chamber is ready to extend all possible help to them. The office-bearers of the Mahaveer Mandal also demanded the state government to change the time of taking out the processions.
