Ranchi: With the aim of getting aware of the problems and suggestions of the farmers, the state government has taken the initiative to start “Kisan Call Center” which has started from January 19.
Agriculture Minister Badal launched the “Kisan Call Center” at Nepal House. On this occasion, he also launched a song prepared by the Agriculture Department to motivate for “Block Chain Technology” and for Covid-19 vaccination. Badal said that the state government is sensitive about the problems of the farmers, as well as the government wants to be aware of their suggestions.
Keeping this objective in mind, the government has started the Kisan Call Center, which will be operated from the Directorate of Agriculture. Farmers of the state can register their problems and suggestions from anywhere in this Kisan Call Center (whose toll free number is 1800-123-1136). Efforts will be made to solve their problems from block level to headquarters level but after receiving the suggestions of the farmers, action will be taken on that. At the same time, the officials will also monitor it continuously.
Badal said that different types of “languages and dialects” are spoken in the state. Farmers do not face any problem in communication, so in “Kisan Call Center” they will be given answers according to the language of the farmers.
Agriculture Minister said that new technology “Block Chain Technology” has also been inaugurated today. Through this technology, tracking of seeds can be done, so that farmers can get accurate information about the seeds to be given. The tracking of seeds can be done till the farmers’ field. This technique will bring transparency in the work and its result will be seen in the production.
Badal said that the Agriculture Department is continuously providing many new facilities to the farmers of the state by using new technology so that the farmers get its benefits at the time and the production can be maximum. He said that it is the result of the continuous efforts of the Agriculture Department that even during this corona period, the department made available 71 thousand 74 quintal seeds among the farmers of the state in time, as a result of which the target of record production was achieved in the state.
Agriculture Minister Badal said that the State Government is serious about the problems of the farmers. The government is also working continuously in the direction of loan waiver for the farmers. So far, the state government has waived loans amounting to Rs 1455 crore of 364581 farmers of the state. This loan waiver process is continuing. Agriculture Secretary Abubakar Siddiqui said that “Kisan Call Center” and “Block Chain Technology” are being launched by the department. Farmers will be able to register their problems and suggestions in the Kisan Call Center. With this work, the department will get the feedback of the farmers and their problems will be resolved faster. Tracking of seeds will be facilitated through “Block Chain Technology”. Through these two new technologies introduced by the department, transparency will come in the works and the farmers of the state will also get its
benefits.
