Four members of Kodha Gang arrested, cash and bikes recovered

Ranchi: In a joint operation conducted by Ranchi and Bokaro police four members of the notorious Kodha Gang have been arrested from a house located under Sikidiri Police Station area of this district.

The arrested have been identified as Vikas Kumar Yadav, Ganesh Kumar Yadav, Kishan Kumar Yadav and Ramkumar Yadav hailing from Jurabganj Nayagoan under Kodha Police Station area of Katihar district of Bihar.

From the arrested, Rs 1.55 lakh in cash, two bikes, 7 mobile phones and a master key of opening bike dickey has been recovered. All of them had been living in a rented house for the last year. Later the arrested were taken away by Bokaro Police.

Officer incharge of Ormanjhi Police Station Shyam Kishore Mahto on Saturday said that these people had executed crime in Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Ramgarh and Ranchi districts. They use to target such people who use to come out from banks after withdrawing money. Three members of the gang were arrested few days back from Barhi and based on the information provided by them these four have been nabbed the officer said.
