Ranchi: Four men involved in the murder of land dealer Kamal Bhushan have been arrested with the help of Delhi Police from Ghazipur area.
Among the arrested are Dablu Kujur, son Rahul Kujur, resident of Hesal of Sukhdevnagar police station area, Kavish Adman, son of Khurshid Alam, resident of Azad Mohalla of Namkum police station area and Munavwar Afaq, resident of Kantatoli of Lower Bazar police station area.
The accused told the police in interrogation that on May 30, along with his associates, near Galaxy Mall on Ratu Road Kamal Bhushan was sitting in his car with his driver and bodyguard where they opened indiscriminate fire in which Kamal Bhushan sustained five bullets.
Police sais that in February this year, Rahul was fired upon by Kamal Bhushan in Namkum area. To avenge it, Kamal Bhushan was murdered. While escaping after the murder, Rahul Kujur had also suffered injuries on his leg.B The accused have revealed that they had gone to Kolkata soon after committing the murder to evade their arrest and then reached Delhi on Friday. Ranchi Police got information about their presence then Delhi Police was informed.
After this, a joint team of Delhi Police and SIT of Ranchi Police was formed and raids were conducted on suspicious places in Delhi. All the four accused were arrested from Ghazipur.
On February 23, near Sadabahar Chowk of Namkum police station area, two criminals riding a bike had opened fire on Rahul Kujur. However, the bullet hit the four-wheeler. The criminals fled from the spot after carrying out the incident. The police who reached the spot found a bullet shell from the spot.
Madhukam resident Dabloo Kujur and Kamal Bhushan both used to do land business together. Meanwhile, Dabloo’s son Rahul got married to Kamal Bhushan’s daughter Yamini. After that there was a dispute between the two. Kamal Bhushan’s daughter Yamini had accused her father of firing and thereafter there was a rift in their partnership.
