Deoghar: Former Vice President of Madhupur Municipal Council, Jiauul Haque alias Tarzan, has been arrested by Palajori police and sent to jail. According to reports, Tarzan has been accused of making inflammatory remarks on social media, as well as promoting religious and organized cybercrime.
Tarzan has multiple cases registered against him at Palajori police station under various sections. Sarath DSP Ranjit Lakra has confirmed Tarzan’s arrest.
Notably, Tarzan has been associated with various political parties throughout his career and even contested the last assembly election on the ticket of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
