Fodder Scam: Lalu Yadav held guilty in Doranda Treasury Case, quantum of sentencing on Feb 21

A Special CBI court on Tuesday convicted former Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav in Fodder Scam case number RC 47A/96 which is related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 139.35 crore from Doranda Treasury of unified Bihar.

The court of special CBI Judge SK Sashi held Lalu Yadav and others guilty in the case while 24 others were acquitted by the court over lack of evidence.

The court will announce the quantum of sentencing against Lalu Yadav on February 21. Meanwhile, Lalu Yadav will be shifted to Hotwar Jail.

Doranda Treasury Case is the last case of the Fodder Scam involving Lalu Yadav and also the biggest case of the multi-crore fodder scam.
