First Vande Bharat for Jharkhand to run from Ranchi to Patna

Ranchi: The Ministry of Railways has approved the Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat train which is likely to run this train from April 25. The Ministry of Railways has asked the officials of South Eastern Railway to start preparations. Loco pilots and crew members are being trained to run Vande Bharat trains.

This train will be run on the new route. The Vande Bharat train will run six days a week between Ranchi and Patna, but the fare has not been decided yet. Its maintenance will be done at Hatia yard.

The primary maintenance of the train will be done in Ranchi and the secondary maintenance will be done in Patna. The Vande Bharat train will complete the journey from Ranchi to Patna in six hours. This train will start from Ranchi at 7:30 am and reach Patna at 2:00 pm and then leave Patna at 3:30 pm and reach Ranchi at 10:30 pm.

The Ministry of Railways has sought permission from the South Eastern Railway officials regarding the timing. There are four trains running from Ranchi to Patna. They are the Hatia-Purnia Court train, Ranchi-Patna Janshatabdi Express, and Hatia-Islampur followed by the Hatia-Patna Patliputra Express train. Now the fifth train will be Vande Bharat.

This will be the first Vande Bharat train for Jharkhand, which will connect the two states. At the same time, Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat is also proposed. Vande Bharat will run from Ranchi, Tatisilway, Barkakana and Hazaribagh rail routes.

Ranchi to Tatisilway, Barkakana, Hazaribagh rail section is ready, on which the green signal has also been given for the operation of the train, but the railways want to run the Vande Bharat train first on this new route. This is the reason why no train was allowed to run on this route till now.
