Ranchi: Will interrogate land scam accused and Jharkhand’s big businessman Vishnu Agarwal on remand. The court has given its permission. On Monday, ED filed an application in the Special Court of Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) and asked for a remand of 6 days.
ED’s advocate urged the court to allow Vishnu Aggarwal to be interrogated by taking him on remand for 6 days. Vishnu Aggarwal’s advocate opposed the demand for remand by ED. But Special Public Prosecutor Ramit Satyendra, present on behalf of ED, told the court that Vishnu Agarwal is also involved in the land scam and there can be many important revelations in questioning him.
After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court has approved the remand for 4 days.
