Ranchi: ED team has taken CI Bhanu Pratap from Hotwar jail to Ranchi office. The ED team will interrogate Bhanu for the next four days. Now the ED team can interrogate Hemant Soren and Bhanu Pratap face to face in the land scam case.
On the other hand, Private Amin Shasendra Mahato of Bargai area has been summoned to the ED office for questioning. ED officials have also started interrogating Shasendra Mahato. It is said that Shasendra Mahato has measured 8.46 acres of land in Badagai area.
ED has arrested Revenue Inspector (Light Employees) of Badagain, Bhanu Pratap Prasad. He is accused of tampering with the government records of the land and tampering with the original records.
Bhanu Pratap is already in jail in a case related to land scam and now he has been arrested in the case in which ED has arrested former Chief Minister Hemant Soren. ED’s investigation so far has revealed that Bhanu Pratap helped Hemant Soren in illegally acquiring property including 8.5 acres of land in Bariatu. It is expected that Hemant Soren and Bhanu Pratap can be interrogated today by making them sit face to face.
