Ranchi/Dhanbad: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team conducted raids in Dhanbad on Thursday. ED team has raided the premises of Surendra Jindal in Sindri, Dhanbad regarding the Bihar sand scam.
Apart from this, raids are going on at the locations of sand trader Mithilesh Singh of Bihar and others. Earlier on June 5, ED had conducted raids in Dhanbad and Hazaribagh of Jharkhand.
The ED team had raided the houses of sand and liquor businessman Jagnarayan Singh alias Jagan Singh located at Polytechnic Road in Dhanbad, Ashok Jindal of Dhaiya Chanchani Colony and Surendra Jindal of Sindri. Jagnarayan Singh alias Jagan Singh and his son are in jail in this case.
The investigation process is still going on. The news of the raid has created a stir among the sand mafia of Dhanbad.
