Due to mistakes of previous government exchequer is empty says Chief Minister

Bokaro: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday attacked the previous BJP government of the state and claimed that due to their mistake the state exchequer had become empty due to which the government was not in a position to pay salaries to its employees.

Addressing a public meeting at Jainamode after Congress nominee from Bermo Jaimangal Singh filed his nominations he said that the previous government owes more than Rs 5,000 crore of DVC. He said that when he was at the power in his previous stint the there was no pending payment of DVC.

He said that the coal of Jharkhand lights up the entire country but people of Jharkhand are worried for power and water which would not be tolerated by him. Hemant Soren said that his government will make Jharkhand a developed state.

The Chief Minister said that people with their own government would now stand on its feet. He said that Raghubar Das use to say that a double engine government was functioning in the state but in reality despite having the double engine all the bogies were missing. He alleged that amid the Corona treatment the centre had been partial towards Jharkhand but going forward the state government was ready to take on the centre. The Chief Minister also highlighted the various measures which his government had taken for providing relief to the people during the Coronavirus crisis.

Recalling his fond memories with late Rajendra Singh he said that Rajendra Babu was like a guardian to him and he was also a leader of workers and poor and now his son Jaimangal Singh was contesting from Bermo to lead the constituency and he would be fulfilling the dreams of his father.
