Drones to keep an eye on Rath Yatra Mela

Ranchi: Drone camera will be deployed to monitor the Jaggannathpur Rath Yatra Mela.

Superintendent of Police Rural Naushad Alam said these things during the meeting of the officers of the police administration with the temple trust committee. Sub-Divisional Officer Ranchi Sadar Deepak Dubey, Additional District Magistrate Ranchi Ramvriksha Mahto, concerned Block Development Officer, Circle Officer, DSP, Station House Officer and members of Temple Trust Committee were present in the meeting.

Various points regarding the organising of the fair were discussed in the meeting. The officials discussed with the trust committee on electricity, water, health facilities and other issues coming during the fair. The officials of the concerned department present in the meeting were instructed to complete the necessary preparations.

The officials were directed that all preparations should be ensured before the fair. Superintendent of Police, Rural Naushad Alam said that elaborate arrangements are being made for the security. All the preparations are being done as per the instructions of the top officials. He said that special attention would be given to the safety of women and the police force would be deployed in civil dress. He said that along with CCTV cameras the Mela premises would also be monitored by drone cameras.

During the meeting, things related to security were kept by the members of the temple trust committee. On which the Superintendent of Police, Rural said to make necessary arrangements.
