Dr Manish Ranjan’s pens new book on Indian Art and Culture

Ranchi: Senior IAS officer of Jharkhand Cadre Dr Manish Ranjan who is posted Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation has penned a new book on Indian Arts and Culture. The book titled ‘Bharatiya Kala Ewam Sanskriti’ is meant for students preparing for UPSC Prelims and Mains Examination. 

The book is already available in the market. There has always been a lack of authentic study material on “Indian Art and Culture”. The author had divided this book into three Sections including Indian Art, Indian Culture and Indian Heritage According to the curriculum, each section interweaves updated information and statistics, authentic facts and the latest research has been included.

There has been immense diversity of art culture philosophy in the history of India. Dr  Ranjan expressed the diversity and epoch-making understanding of the historical development of India’s painting, handicrafts, sculpture and architecture, dance-music, drama, language, literature, education, religion and philosophy etc in his book with great ease. This book is mainly written for the students preparing for UPSC and State Services.

The facts have been incorporated by studying and analyzing. Hence the important lines of each chapter have also been highlighted. Objective questions, table and summary are also the specialty of the book. It is also very useful for the students.
