Ranchi: The state government has announced major relief for beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana. Women who did not receive the 14th installment will now get two payments together this month, amounting to Rs 5,000 in their accounts.
According to officials, those who missed the previous installment will receive both the 14th and 15th payments simultaneously, ensuring they receive the full benefit before the festive season. Women who already received the earlier installment will get the regular 15th installment of Rs 2,500.
The 15th installment has already been credited to beneficiaries in 12 districts, including Ranchi, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Lohardaga, Gumla, Jamtara, Simdega, Chatra, Pakur, and Garhwa. These districts were prioritized as the verification of documents and applications had been completed earlier. The remaining districts will receive payments between October 20 and 25.
The government stated that the goal is to ensure timely financial support to all eligible women so they can feel economically secure during the festive period. Beneficiaries can check their payment status by logging into the official Maiyan Samman Yojana website using their application or Aadhaar number and verifying through an OTP-based process.
