Doctors across the state to boycott work on Wednesday over recent attacks

Ranchi: To register their protest against the growing incidents of attacks in different districts of Jharkhand on the members of their fraternity the doctors across the state will boycott work on Wednesday however emergency services and treatment of patients admitted inside the various hospitals will remain unaffected. 

A joint call for this boycott has been given by IMA and JHASA. On the other hand the Jharkhand Chapter of Association of Health Care Provider India has also decided to support the protest with chairman of the chapter Yogesh Gambhir saying that OPD services will not be functional on Wednesday.

He said that all of them are hurt over the rising crime against the doctors and demanded that without any delay the medical protection act should be implemented in the state.
