Doctor, Engineer four arrested by ACB while taking bribe

Garhwa, Sep 20: The Anti Corruption Bureau arrested four government officials and employees including an engineer and a doctor from separate districts of the state while they were caught accepting the bribe red handed.

ACB sources said that the people have been arrested from Nagan Untari and Bhawnathpur of Garhwa district while one each has been arrested in Dumka and Chas of Bokaro district. All these four men were later produced before the special ACB courts which forwarded them to jail.

ACB SP Sudarshan Mandal said that engineer Rajeev Kumar was arrested from Nagan Untari of Garhwa district. He was taking a bribe of Rs 2000 for clearing payments for construction of a cattel shed. Th engineer was arrested from his home.

In another trap from this district a doctor Ashutosh Kumar Singh was arrested from Bhawnathpur whiel he was taking a bribe of Rs 5,000. He too was nabbed from his home while he was taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 to make an injury report of the complainant.

In another case from Dumka an employee of the electricity department Parkash Singh was arrested while taking a bribe of Rs 5,000. Singh was taking the bribe from an electrician of Ranishwar. The fourth culprit Dilp Sao who is the assistant of Chas SDO was caught taking a bribe of Rs 10,000. Sao was taking the bribe from a builder Gauarchand Mahtha to get his work done.
