Ranchi: A Joint order of Deputy Commissioner-cum- District Magistrate, Ranchi and Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi for the maintenance of law and order and security system in view of protest against the new recruitment policy proposed by the Jharkhand Government and call for bandh by the Jharkhand Pahan Mahasangh Ranchi on Saturday has been issued.
To maintain law and order and public peace, magistrates, police officers and forces have been deputed in different areas of the capital Ranchi. The Patrolling Magistrate/ Police Officer and the police force have been directed to be intensively patrol while keeping in coordination with each other and being alert in their respective areas during the demonstration. In view of the apprehension of unnecessary fear and tension arising due to false/rumors, every deputed magistrate and police officer has been instructed to keep special vigil in their respective areas, so that rumors can be resolved quickly and peace is maintained.
Static magistrates have been deputed to maintain peace and law and order at Moradabadi Maidan OP, Raj Bhavan / Zakir Hussain Park, Chief Minister’s residence, including all the police station in-charges related to all other sensitive areas have been asked to collect intelligence in view of places where anti social elements can effect the law and order situation in their respective areas. They have been asked to identify and make additional deputation of police officers/ forces there as per the requirement.
Magistrates and police officers have also been deputed in the District Composite Control Room to maintain law and order. The above deputations will be effective till two hours after the peaceful completion of the program at 08:00 am on 08.04.2023, accordingly all the deputation officials should reach their respective places of deputation on time and maintain effective law and order and peace and precautionary arrangements. It has been directed to ensure that no law and order problem of any kind arises and peace is not disturbed.
Along with this, all police station mobiles / eco mobiles will continue to establish coordination with the said patrolling parties, so that if necessary, cooperation can be given to each other for maintaining law and order. Police Station, Ranchi / concerned police station incharge will ensure to send replacement in absence of any official. All station in-charges will ensure that law and order and security are maintained in their respective areas. Fire Officer, Ranchi Zakir Hussain Park, Chief Minister’s residence and district control room will ensure deputation along with fire fighting vehicle personnel by 08:00 am on Saturday.
For proper operation of fire fighting vehicles and tear gas, instructions have been given to rehearse it before deputation. Civil Surgeon, Ranchi has been directed to depute one ambulance each, doctor, medical personnel and one ambulance near Zakir Hussain Park with all necessary medicines and equipment for emergency medical arrangements.
For arrangement of drinking water and mobile toilets, Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation has been requested to ensure deputation of an ambulance from Morhabadi along with Zakir Hussain Park on the said occasion. All police station in-charges are directed to patrol their respective police station areas intensively and take necessary action on the information received by giving information to their preferred in-charge.
