DGP held a review meeting regarding the law and order of the state during festivals

Ranchi: DGP Ajay Kumar Singh is holding a review meeting today on Wednesday regarding the law and order of the state during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath festivals.

The law and order situation is being discussed by the DGP with all the zonal IGs, range DIGs and SSPs and SPs of the district through video conferencing at the police headquarters.

CM Hemant Soren will review the law and order regarding festivals on October 13 at 1 pm in Project Bhawan.

The review meeting included general preparations for law and order, crime control, peace committee meeting, identification of militants, execution of warrant under section 107 of CrPC, problem of illegal mining in the state, smuggling of illegal drugs and liquor, land dispute.

Matters related to the festival, uninterrupted power supply, cleanliness as well as smooth traffic arrangements during the puja are being discussed.

Installation of CCTV Cameras in all Pandals and deployment of Security Forces in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Palamu, Hazaribagh and rest all districts of Jharkhand.

Riot Controlled Forces will be deployed in all districts of Jharkhand.

Sensitive areas and Hot Spot will be monitored by Police Officials.

Music systems and Social Media Network will be checked regularly.

DGP gave directions to Police officials no controversy and stone pelting any such type of anti-social activities should not be seen during immersion of idols of Goddess Durga.

To Control Crowd is our top most priority.

During the meeting ADG Aunrag Gupta, Sanjay Anandrao Lathkar, Parbhat Kumar, Aseem Vikrant Minz, Micheal Raj and other senior police officials were present.
