Deoghar: Preparations are picking up pace for the 46th national convention of the Akhil Bhartiya Madhyadeshiya Vaishya Sabha, with the organizing committee stepping up arrangements ahead of the two-day event on April 11 and 12.
At a press briefing held on Monday, organizers shared details about the schedule, guest arrivals, and logistical planning. The convention will be held at Shanti Kothi, where delegates from across India, along with participants from Nepal and Bhutan, are expected to gather in large numbers.
This marks the second consecutive time that Deoghar will host the prestigious event, making it a significant occasion for the Vaishya community. The convention is being viewed as an important platform to strengthen unity and expand community outreach.
One of the key agendas of the event will be the election of the new national executive body. Voting will be held for major posts, including national president, general secretary, and treasurer, as well as positions in the youth and women’s wings. Around 2,000 delegates, including public representatives and distinguished personalities from various sectors, are likely to attend.
A major highlight of the convention will be the ‘Pradesh Ratna Award’ ceremony, where talented youth from different states will be honoured. Two individuals from each state have been selected for their achievements in fields such as writing, art, poetry, and cultural activities, making it a significant initiative to promote young talent.
To ensure smooth execution, the organizing committee has formed multiple teams to handle reception, accommodation, food, and other arrangements. Coordinated efforts are underway to make the convention grand, well-managed, and memorable.
