Dense fog in Ranchi as soon as the clouds cleared, minimum temperature drops by 1 degree

Ranchi: Fog has started forming in the capital as soon as the clouds broke away.

In Ranchi urban area where the light-grade fog was seen while McCluskieganj experienced dense fog on Wednesday morning. The minimum temperature here reached 10 degrees celsius.

Whereas in the urban area of Ranchi, a drop of 1-degree celsius has been recorded in the minimum temperature in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature here on Tuesday was recorded at 16.4 degrees Celsius, which has come down to 15.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

As per the met, a low-pressure area is formed over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and North Andaman Sea. It is likely to move westwards in turn intensifying into a cyclonic form.
