Ranchi: Fog has started forming in the capital as soon as the clouds broke away.
In Ranchi urban area where the light-grade fog was seen while McCluskieganj experienced dense fog on Wednesday morning. The minimum temperature here reached 10 degrees celsius.
Whereas in the urban area of Ranchi, a drop of 1-degree celsius has been recorded in the minimum temperature in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature here on Tuesday was recorded at 16.4 degrees Celsius, which has come down to 15.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
Scientists at the local weather Station in Ranchi said that the minimum temperature may reach 13 degree celsius in the next two days. However, in the meantime, light to moderate rain may occur in the city on Sunday and
Monday.
As per the met, a low-pressure area is formed over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and North Andaman Sea. It is likely to move westwards in turn intensifying into a cyclonic form. After this, this cyclonic area can hit the coast of South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu from the Bay of South West Bengal on Thursday. Due to this, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in both these states.
The weather remained dry in the state during the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature in the state was recorded at Godda at 29.6 degree celsius while the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 13.9 degree celsius in Ranchi.
