Ranchi: A review meeting of schemes related to the welfare department was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha in which senior officials of the district administration and those from the concerned departments were in presence.
In the meeting execution of Pre- Matric (Primary/Middle High School), Post-Matric, Minority Scholarship Scheme, Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, Chief Minister’s Health Assistance Scheme (Medical Grant), Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989, Legal Aid Scheme, Chief Minister Livestock Development Planning, Forest Rights Act 2006, Birsa Housing Scheme, PVTG Gram Utthan Yojana, Dhumkadiya Building Construction Scheme, Minority Cemetery Cherbandi, Siege of Sarna, Masna, Hadgadi etc, Welfare Departmental Residential Schools/Hostels, Repair and Renovation, Welfare Department ST, repair and renovation of BC and MIN hostels (except residential schools), under Special Central Assistance (Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub Plan) scheme, Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram etc were reviewed in detail.
While reviewing various scholarship schemes, the Deputy Commissioner directed to focus on opening bank accounts of the students. He directed the concerned officer to work in coordination with the Education Department. The new scholarship rules it was directed to ensure the benefits of the schemes to the students. While reviewing the progress in Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, the Deputy Commissioner directed to provide the benefits of the scheme to the eligible applicants by field verification of new applications received.
He said that giving information about vehicle loans under the scheme, applications should be received from all the blocks. While reviewing the Mukhyamantri Swasthya Sahayata Yojana (Medical Grant), the Deputy Commissioner directed to ensure the benefits of the scheme to the needy people.
