Ranchi, Sep 24: With most of the Durga Puja Pandals all set to open their gates for the devotees from Monday the senior officials of the district administration including Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar and SSP Kuldeep Dwivedi reviewed the security and other arrangements at the pandals and issued necessary instructions.
The DC asked all the Puja Pandal management committees to install CCTVs at entry and exit gates of the Pandals. He said that the administration has installed CCTVs at all prominent spots however to make sure that there is no lapse in security the CCTVs should also be installed at the Pandals.
The officials also reviewed the arrangements of fire fighter system, sand to douse the flames, entry and exit arrangements for men and women and announcement facilitties. Ranchi SSP Kuldeep Dwivedi said that adequate number of police personnel would be deployeed in all the Puja Pandals and women police in plain clothes would also be posted to prevent the incidents of eve teasing and chains snatching.
He said that the entire city has been divided into zones and police and magistrates deployeed so that no untoward incident takes place. The puja committees asked the officials to ensure cleanliness at the pandals over which they assured that RMC would undertake the cleanliness work on time.
