Danger of lumpy virus increases in Jamtara

Jamtara: In many villages of Jamtara district, the Lumpy virus disease has been going on in animals for a long time. The department is unaware and careless regarding this. Vaccination work has completely come to a standstill in the village.

Three to four animals have been infected with the Lumpy virus at the house of Devi Lal Marandi, Marshal Kisku of Tetuliatand village of Narayanpur block area. At the same time, in the house of Bablu Mandal of Phuljori village of Jamtara block, the animals have also caught the disease of dangerous lumpy virus. Due to this, the animals have become weak and malnourished. Bablu Mandal said that he has been troubled for two months.

According to Hindu belief, after a disease in animals, many types of precautions are being taken not only at the doctor but also at home. But it is not getting better. The villagers said that the disease is not being treated by village-level doctors. Gradually, the pox-like appearance on the whole body is becoming more and more.

The number of animals is increasing from one to two, from two to three. Due to increasing infection, the risk of animals getting disease in other houses is also increasing.
