Ranchi: CPI Maoist organization have announced Bharat Bandh from 16 to 22 December.
Bharat Bandh has been announced by Abhay, the spokesperson of the Central Committee of CPI Maoists.
According to spokesperson Abhay, Naxalites will run a nationwide propaganda campaign from 16 to 22 December and will make the Bharat Bandh successful on 22 December.
However all essential services like milk, ambulance have been kept free from the bandh.
In the letter issued by CPI Maoists, it has been written that in the name of Naxal-free Jharkhand, Jharkhand Police in collaboration with central forces is committing atrocities in tribal dominated areas.
From August 2022 till now, barbaric attacks are being carried out on the Red Squad continuously. In these attacks our comrades are being caught and killed.
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India works for the eradication of the revolutionary movement and the revolutionary masses.
In such a situation, there is a need to raise voice against the illegitimate attack by the police. According to Abhay, it has been decided to run a nationwide publicity campaign from 16 November to 22 December.
After the publicity campaign, the organization has decided that the whole of India will remain closed on 22 December.
The organization has sought help from intellectuals and human rights organizations to make the bandh successful.
