Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that he was sitting on a chair as a servant of the people so that the state can
be removed from the clutches of the corruption. Addressing a get-together programme in the East Singhbhum district he said that
the country is really fortunate to have got an honest Prime Minister like Narendra Modi. He said that he himself has been serving as
the servant of the people for the last four years and not a single allegation of corruption has been levelled against him.
Mr Das said that in the last 14 years Jharkhand was known as a corrupt state but since his government has come into power in the last four years no spot has been registered on the face of the government. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand has to be made an honest state. He said that political and social workers can play an important in creating awareness among the people.
Mr Das said that after 67 years of Independence the governments did not work for the progress of the nation but under Prime Minister Narendra Modi no nation has the power to ignore India and said that India has now emerged as the superpower. During the programme at the banks of Dimna Dam, the place reverted with should of traditional songs. DC and SSP of East Singh also participated in the programme during which he sat with the people and ate with them.
