Congress will reach 30 thousand booths in 60 days: Pandey

Ranchi: In the coming days the State Congress will organize meetings from panchayat to district level and along with this to give impetus to the membership campaign it will work with a new goal. At the end of the two-day coordination committee meeting at the State Congress office, state in-charge Avinash Pandey informed about this on Thursday.

Interacting with the media he said that the process of organizational elections has started at the all-India level. Programs have been fixed everywhere and they have started in many places in this connection programs are going on in Jharkhand. He said that the second phase of the membership drive has started from May 1. A target has been set to reach 30 thousand booths in the state in the coming 60 days.

He said that tasks have been given to all the district heads in the meeting and it was told that they should get ready for the year 2024. State President Rajesh Thakur, Minister Badal Patralekh, former MLA cum Working President Bandhu Tirkey, Geeta Koda etc participated in the meeting.

Pandey said that a meeting would also be organized in the first or second week of June for the representatives to be elected at the Panchayat level. At the same time, training camps will be organized for state-level leaders. In July-August, there will be training camps at the district level as well.

Through these camps, schemes like loan waiver, seed distribution, fertilizer distribution and ration distribution being run by the government will be delivered through various programs he said. He said that discussions were also held on the current political situation prevailing in the state and the Congress party is complete with the government he said and accused the BJP of trying unsuccessfully to destabilize the democratic government by only spreading confusion.
