Ranchi: State Congress President held a preparatory meeting with General Secretaries, Ranchi Rural and Ranchi Metropolitan District Presidents and senior Congressmen at Congress Bhavan, Ranchi, to organize a grand program on International Tribal Day on August 09 and chalk out a strategy for its success.
It was decided in the meeting that on the day of World Tribal Day, a grand public meeting will be organized under the aegis of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee at Banhora Maidan in Pandra, capital Ranchi.
In this regard, the state president asked all the office bearers and district heads to ensure that the program should be held in a grand manner.
Giving information after the meeting, State Congress Committee General Secretary cum Spokesperson Rakesh Sinha said that on August 09, a tribute ceremony was organized in the reserved assembly constituencies to honor the conservation talent, torch march, and contribution of tribal leaders in the history and development of the nation.
Metropolitan President Dr. Kumar Raja, Niranjan Paswan, Jagdish Sahu, Sanjay Kumar, Ajay Singh, Shahnaz Khatoon, Jamil Akhtar, Meenu Singh, Ajay Sahu, Kishore Nayak, Gaurav Singh, Aman, Sahabir Lohra, Rashmi Pinguwa etc. were included in the meeting.
