Congress to show strength during nomination for Bermo seat

Ranchi: The Congress party has decided to use the day of nomination for Bermo seat for showcasing its strength in the state.

Party nominee from Bermo seat Jaimangal Singh would be filing his nominations on October 14 during which JPCC Chief and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon, CLP leader and Rural Development Minister Alamgir Aalam, Health Minister Banna Gupta and Agriculture Minister Badal would be present.

JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey on Monday said that the BJP and AJSU have come together in these polls leaving behind their respective hidden agendas but no matter what their alliance is full of cracks from inside.

He said that as far as the outcome of Dumka and Bermo bypolls are considered the Mahagathbandhan is confident of winning them by big margins and only results are a formality.

However he said that the BJP is using the strength of three former Chief Ministers one of whom is a Union Minister and another one is their nation vice president, further, their state president is a Rajya Sabha and despite all the strength being mobilised by them are going to fell flat in these polls.
