Congress leaders burn effigy of PM over Adani row

Ranchi: Leaders of the state Congress party staged demonstrations and burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rajendra Chowk of Doranda of the state capital.

Leaders of the Jharkhand Congress also carried placards accusing the Prime Minister and the central government of protecting the corporate friends. The party also indulged in slogan shouting and also burnt the effigy of the Prime Minister.

Party leader Alok Kumar Dubey said that as per the demand of the party leader a JPC should be formed so that the truth can come out in the open. 

Party leader Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo claimed that the Prime Minister has made the foreign policy as the business policy for the Adani group. He said that the inaction by the Centre over the acts of the Adani Group shows that it enjoys the patronage of the central government.
