Ramgarh, May 20: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday said
that the Congress party which has ruled over the nation for more than
60 years has now been reduced to a regional party status.
Talking to reporters after offering prayers at Maa Chinmastika Temple
located at Rajrappa of this district he said that in Karnataka it was
carrying the JD(S) on its shoulders while in Jharkhand it was doing
the same with the JMM.
To a query he said that BJP candidate in Gomia by-polls Madhav Lal
Singh will be winning the polls by a huge margin. He said that his
government was committed to develop Rajrappa as a world level
religious spot which will also create employment for the locals and
ensure the visitors from across the world reach here.
He said that he had come to pay his obeisance to the goddess to seek
her blessings for the prosperity and progress of people of the state.
He said that to bring improvement in the life style of the people of
Jharkhand was his priority. He sought the deity’s blessings so that
every poor can get jobs, education, medicines etc.
After offering prayers at the temple the Chief Minister left for
campaigning in Gomia. Those present on the occasion also included vice
president of 20 point programme Rakesh Prasad, DC Rajeshwaro b,
Hazaribagh SP Anish Gupta and others.
