Ranchi: As soon as the clouds made their way for clear skies the minimum temperature of Ranchi has dropped by five degrees.
Scientists at the local weather station said that it will be cold days now cool winds are blowing in the state. Similar situation is likely to remain for the next three to four days and after January 31 there is a possibility of getting relief from cold.
The weather station said that in Jharkhand for the next 3-4 days after fog in the morning, the sky will be clear during the day and there will be good sunshine. In the last 24 hours, Ranchi has recorded a maximum temperature of 20.2 degrees celsius and a minimum of 7.4 degrees celsius.
During this period Jamshedpur’s maximum was 23 degrees and minimum 13 degrees, Daltonganj’s maximum temperature was 22.8 degrees and minimum 7.5 degrees.
The MET said that till January 31 the temperature will continue to drop. In the next 1-2 days, the mercury is likely to drop by 2-3 degree celsius in the southern parts of the state as well. After February 1 the weather will be almost normal. However at present there is no chance of rain in any part of the state.
