CM to visit Chatra on Oct 19, Labour Minister takes stock of preparations

Chatra: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will come to Chatra on a one-day visit on October 19 during which he will participate in the Aapki Sarkar, Aapki Yojana Aapke Dwar program to be organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

In the function along with distributing assets among hundreds of beneficiaries, he will also gift schemes worth more than Rs 200 crores to the district. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones of schemes of various departments from the venue. The district administration is busy finalizing the preparations for the Chief Minister’s program.

Under the joint leadership of DC Abu Imran and SP Rakesh Ranjan, officers are constantly camping on the spot and taking stock of the preparations. Chatra MLA cum State Labour, Planning, Training and Skill Development Minister Satyanand Bhokta also took stock of the venue. During this, he also gave necessary directions to the officers. 

The Minister said that the State Government is fully committed to providing government benefits to the poor and needy people of the state. This program is being run by the state government. So that by going to the door of the poor they can be benefitted by government schemes. 

The Labour Minister said that the arrival of the Chief Minister would speed up the development of Chatra. He said that the Chief Minister would inaugurate and lay foundation stones of schemes worth more than 200 crores during the Chatra visit. The preparations for which have almost been completed.

The DC said that the district administration is keeping a close watch on the preparations for the program. Necessary guidelines have been issued to the officers of the concerned departments.
