CM to launch Air Ambulance service on April 28

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will launch the Air Ambulance service in the state on March 28. Through this facility patients in emergency can be taken from Jharkhand to other big hospitals located in any part of
the country. This service would be provided to the people at very affordable rates.

An official of the Civil Aviation department said that the Air Ambulance Service would be available for the cities like Delhi Mumbai Chennai Bangalore Lucknow and moreover the ambulance facility would be availed in just three hours after making a request in this regard.

The official said that the state government is hiring an air ambulance for its own use which will be parked in the state hanger and its services will be also available from the air strips located at Deoghar Dumka Giridih Dhanbad Bokaro and Jamshedpur apart from Ranchi. 

He further said that patients from those districts will have to contact the Civil Aviation department or the deputy commissioner of the concerned district after which within three hour the facility will be made available to the people. The facility of the air ambulance will be available 24×7 on all days of the week so that in case of any emergency the patient can be immediately taken to the concerned Hospital.

Earlier the air ambulance used to come from Delhi or other metros after contacting the hospitals of the big cities due to which not only 6 to 7 hours were wasted but the people were also forced to pay more money but with the state government starting this ambulance facility people will be able to get the facility of air Ambulance at a cheaper rate.
