CM Soren visits Badrinath with family after Kedarnath

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren, currently on a religious tour with his family, visited the sacred Badrinath Dham after offering prayers at Kedarnath. The Chief Minister shared pictures from the visit on his social media handles, in which he is seen with his wife and Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren and their two sons.

Earlier in the day, Soren had posted photos from Kedarnath, where he performed rituals and sought blessings from Lord Shiva. As per official sources, he is expected to return to Ranchi on June 1. Due to the ongoing pilgrimage, he was unable to attend today’s scheduled meeting with the 16th Finance Commission.

This visit is part of a series of spiritual journeys CM Soren has undertaken since winning the 2024 Assembly elections. In February, he, along with his wife, visited the iconic Kalighat temple in Kolkata to offer prayers to Goddess Kali. In December 2024, the couple had also visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, where they performed rituals together. During the same month, they also prayed at the revered Tirupati Balaji and Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temples in Tirupati.

Soren’s recurring visits to major religious sites reflect a deep personal spiritual inclination, and his latest pilgrimage continues to draw attention and blessings from well-wishers across the state.
