CM Soren calls for meaningful debate during Assembly monsoon session

Ranchi: The monsoon session of state Assembly is set to commence on Friday amid intense rainfall across the state. Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that despite the challenging weather, the session is expected to witness meaningful discussions on key issues affecting the people.

“Members across party lines have experienced the impact of heavy rains first hand. We hope for constructive dialogue in the House, reflecting concerns of both urban and rural citizens,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that the government is sensitive to problems faced by public and expects cooperation from the opposition to collectively address pressing matters.

Commenting on the discussion around Operation Sindoor, Soren said, “It is a matter of national interest, and it is encouraging to see it being discussed at the highest democratic forum. National security and women’s dignity are issues that deserve serious attention.”

The session is expected to focus on flood-related challenges, infrastructure damage and recent law and order developments in the state.
