Ranchi: During the ongoing Budget session in the Jharkhand Assembly on Tuesday, MLA CP Singh brought up the Siramtoli flyover issue through a matter of public attention. He mentioned that the local people are protesting against the flyover construction.
Singh stated that effigies of himself, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and other ministers were burned during the protests. He further highlighted that the flyover falls within his constituency, which is also the site for the Sarhul festival, where thousands of people gather for worship. He urged that the matter be resolved promptly.
In response, Chief Minister Hemant Soren acknowledged that the issue had been brought to his attention by social organizations and assured that there was no need for concern. He stated that the Sarhul festival would take place smoothly and without any issues.
