CM says BJP trying to destabilize govt, asks MLAs of Mahagathbandhan to remain cautious

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has cautioned MLAs of the UPA claiming that the BJP was trying to destabilize the government but his government is on a firm footing and the BJP would not to be able to fulfill its vested interests. In the meeting held at his official residence on Saturday which was called to show the unity among the UPA partners the Chief Minister had a long duration with the legislators over a host of issues. The threat is lurking upon the membership of Hemant Soren in the Jharkhand assembly as he is facing an inquiry in the office of the profit matter for obtaining a mining lease in his name.

The Election Commission of India has completed the hearing of this case and the verdict is likely to come any day. An MLA who attended the meeting said that the Chief Minister has categorically said that the BJP was trying to destabilize the government and it is time for everyone to stay united. 

He further said that BJP has left no stone unturned to create a bad perception about his government despite the fact that the government has performed remarkably well which won appreciation including the management during the Covid 19 pandemic. The meeting discussed the issue of drought-like conditions in Jharkhand and he urged MLAs to coordinate with the government and the local administration so that immediate steps are taken.

The issue of appointment against vacant posts of board and corporation was also raised. The Chief Minister assured that he would soon address the demands of MLAs and supporting alliances. During the meeting, MLAs talked about the proposal to convert the Sadar hospital of districts into a model hospital by improving infrastructure and other facilities.

The issue of OBC reservation was also discussed. The Chief Minister has asked the MLAs of the UPA to take all the welfare schemes of the government to each and every home and village of the state.
