Ramgarh: Chief Minister Hemant Soren along with family members visited Maa Chinmastika Temple located in Rajrappa of this district and offered his prayers at the temple.
On the occasion JMM supremo Shibu Soren, mother of the Chief Minister Rupi Soren, wife of Chief Minister Kalpana Soren, MLA Sita Soren and other members of the family were present on the occasion.
Talking to the press Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that Rajrappa is situated in his home district of Ramgarh which is also the place of his birth. He said that he had come along with his family to pay obeisance at the feet of Maa Chinmastika as her blessings have always been in the family.
The Chief Minister said that the new year has started and he has prayed to the Goddess for bringing peace prosperity and happiness in the lives of the people of Jharkhand. He also extended his new year greetings to the people present on the occasion.
The Ramgarh district administration also gave a guard of honour to the Chief Minister. Those present on the occasion included Ramgarh DC Madhavi Mishra, DP Piyush Pandey and others.
