CM holds interaction with heads of leading media houses

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday held interaction with the heads and bureau chiefs of the leading media houses of the state at his official residence here.

Speaking on the occasion he said that due to the situation which had arisen due to Coronavirus the frequent interactions could not take place, however with the combined efforts of everyone the situation is now returning to normalcy therefore interactions like this will be very helpful to make a bridge between the government and the media.

He said that events like these will help to strengthen the bond between the government and media and it will also help to ensure the reach of development schemes to the people. He called upon the representatives present in the function to come forward with their suggestions so that the state government can work in a better manner for the people. He also assured that the state government is also serious about the welfare of the journalists and is taking steps to ensure a more smooth flow of information and communication between the government and media.

During the event, the editors and Bureau Chiefs also raised their issues and lauded the different initiatives of the state government.

Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajeev Arun Ekka, IPRD Director Sashi Prakash Singh were present on the occasion.
