Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated various development projects including a foundation laying stone ceremony and distribution of assets at Bokaro on Thursday. He said while the inauguration of development projects, “After a long struggle and agitation, we took Jharkhand, but in the last two decades, this state could not reach where it should be.” Despite all the resources and capabilities, Jharkhand is counted among the backward states. Now our government is determined to change the fate and picture of this state.
Many schemes have been started in this episode and many will start. These schemes will work to change the condition and direction and nature of Jharkhand. The Chief Minister said every plan and policy of ours is in line with the aspirations of the people. Whatever action plan the government makes, special attention is taken to the thinking and expectations of the public. Irrespective of the class and section of society, priority is being given to the schemes related to the interest and welfare of everyone.
The Chief Minister said the children should only worry about their studies. The government will bear the cost of studies. He said that from school education to higher education abroad, the government has schemes. The Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana has been started to ensure that the girl child remains attached to the school.
The scholarship amount has been increased. From coaching for various competitive exams to the expenses incurred in studying courses like medical engineering and law, the government is also funding them. If you want to get higher education abroad, the government is bearing 100 % of its expenses.
Guruji Credit Card Scheme is launched. Under this, education loans up to Rs 15 lakh will be made available to the students at the lowest interest rate. The Chief Minister said there are many schemes for the future generation to become educated and strong. The government has started the School of Excellence to provide better and quality education to children along the lines of private schools. At the same time, all necessary resources related to studies are being made available in other schools.
The government is ensuring the system of education from first class to degree. New medical, engineering, and higher educational institutions are being opened so that children can get better opportunities for studies in their own state. The Chief Minister said the recruitment process has started on a large scale here.
The process of distribution of appointment letters is going on continuously and it will continue even further. At the same time, those who are willing to start their own business, are being provided grant-based loans under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme. It is our endeavour that the youth get associated with employment and self-employment and contribute to making the state strong.
The Chief Minister apprised the people about various schemes run by the government and asked them to join these schemes. The Chief Minister said the government is continuously working to strengthen the rural economy. Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana is an important part of this episode. Under this, whatever animal will be given to the beneficiaries by the government, it will now be insured, so that the beneficiaries do not suffer financial loss on the death of the animals and they continue to be associated with animal husbandry.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 70 projects at a cost of Rs 17097.82 lakh. Assets worth Rs 5636.94 lakh were distributed among 10067 beneficiaries in the programme. Inauguration of the building of Model Degree College, Gomian. A foundation stone was laid for the construction of additional classrooms and multipurpose auditoriums in high schools located at Chandankyari, Gomian, Chandrapura, and Chas.

Foundation laid for construction of Integrated Dhanwantri Ayush Hospital, Bokaro. Foundation laid for 50 bedded Critical Care Hospital. Foundation laid for Model Degree College, Nawadih. On this occasion Cabinet Minister Baby Devi, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Yogendra Prasad, Principal Secretary Vinay Choubey and thousands of residents from Bokaro were present.
