CM Hemant Soren launched “Attendance Portal” to ensure daily attendance of doctors and paramedical personnel

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren, on behalf of the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department launched the “Attendance Portal” to ensure daily attendance of all the doctors, paramedics, contractual workers and other personnel working under the Health Department.

Cross verification of biometric attendance being recorded by health department personnel will be done through this portal.

While launching the portal, the Chief Minister said that the government is committed to improving the health facilities of the state and providing accessible and better health related facilities to all the people of the state of Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously making efforts to provide better medical facilities to the people of the state in government hospitals and health centres.

In this regard, arrangements are being made for maintenance, repair, medical resources, testing facilities and medicines to health sub-centres, primary health centres, community health centres, sub-divisional hospitals, district hospitals and medical colleges and hospitals.

He said that the health department should ensure that the patients coming to the government hospital get better investigation and medical facilities.

The Chief Minister said that appropriate steps should be taken to make the district hospitals of the state 24×7 operational.

Under this, there should be arrangements for all types of surgeries with specialist doctors in these hospitals, so that there is no need to refer patients to any other hospital.

He said that initiatives should also be taken in this direction so that patients can get consultation from specialist doctors in the OPD of district hospitals.

The Chief Minister should make arrangements to establish 24-hour connectivity between primary health sub-centres and health centers with district hospitals.

So that, if a patient comes to the health centers for treatment and needs better treatment, then there should be complete arrangements to bring him to the district hospital.

The Chief Minister said that 100 percent utilization of the human resources available in the state from primary health sub-centres to district hospitals should be ensured.

Human resources should be made available according to the needs of hospitals.
