Ranchi: Under the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, the CM flagged off the LED campaign vehicle from the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly premises for public awareness in rural areas.
Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato, Minister Alamgir Alam, Departmental Minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Minister Badal Patralekh, Minister Hafizul Hasan Ansari and other MLAs were present on the occasion of its inauguration.
After flagging off the chariot, Minister Mithilesh Thakur said that the state government will monitor this LED vehicle.
Along with this, half the stake in this vehicle will be of the central government and half of the state government.
Under the policy of State Government’s Jal Jeevan Mission rural households will get benefits of Har Ghar Jal from Nal Yojana.
Till now 24.06 Rural Families are being provided with safe drinking water facilities.
FHTC Water Connection was started with 3.45 Lakh Families which was increased to 24.06 Lakh Families.
Mechanics, Plumber and Electricians are being trained under this scheme.
Total 18,000 Labourers will be trained by the State Government.
The State Government made 28 Water Test Laboratory which is located at 24 districts.
In spite of that 29595 Villages are being felicitated with Jal Sahiyas.
Ground Water Recharge technique is being updated.
The State Government is determined to work with Panchayati Raj Institutions to work in a more transparent way.
