Chief Minister Champai Soren said that better work has been done in the field of social security in the state.
In the last 4 years, our government has worked to connect all the eligible people covered under social security with the Sarvajan Pension Scheme.
Earlier, the elderly people here were unnecessarily worried about joining the pension scheme, they had to run to the block office.
Our government has worked to connect people with the schemes by running ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapki Dwar’ campaign across Jharkhand.
The Chief Minister said that this is the first time in the state that district headquarters and block level officials are working to reach every village and every house with a bundle of schemes.
This work was possible under the able leadership of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
State government officials reached every village and every house to understand the problems of the people and worked to solve the problems at a fast pace.
Our government has worked to make schemes in accordance with public sentiments.
All the plans are being implemented on the ground.
At present, all eligible widows, disabled and old people within the state have been linked to pension.
The Chief Minister said that our government will now provide the benefits of the pension scheme to women of all sections of the state from the age of 50 years.
At the same time, men from ST-SC communities will also be covered under the pension scheme from the age of 50 years.
The Chief Minister said that our government is engaged in strengthening the basic systems of the state by taking forward the leadership of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Our government has started the work of implementing important schemes like the Abua Housing Scheme.
Under Abua Awas Yojana, 20 lakh eligible families of the state will be given permanent houses.
The Chief Minister said that the previous governments have ignored the needs of the tribals and indigenous people here.

Chief Minister Champai Soren said that recently the Sindri Urea Factory under Dhanbad district has been inaugurated.
I believe that the farmers of Jharkhand will be able to benefit from the urea produced from this factory only when water is supplied to their fields through pipelines.
As per the thinking of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, our government is working to provide irrigation water to the fields of the farmer brothers here through pipelines for 12 months of the year.
The thinking of our government is to organize the unorganized labourers within the state and give them their rights.
Every facility will be provided to the farmers here so that they can become self-reliant by growing three crops in a year.
