CM asks to put up CCTV cameras at all circle and registration offices

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday asked the officials to install CCTV cameras across all the circle offices within a month.

Chairing a review meeting over the functioning of the revenue, registration and land reforms department he said that the cameras should be put up in the office of circle Inspector, record room and registration office. The CCTV cameras should also cover the inside and outside portion of the office and record room, he said adding that the control room should be set up at the DC office which will be monitored by the DC himself. He said that priority should be given to store the data of CCTV cameras for a long period.

The Chief Minister said that officials posted in block and circle offices should live in the houses which have been constructed in the premises and this should be ensured by the senior officials. He said that the practice to live outside the headquarters should end.

The Chief Minister said that Ameen can play a major role in revenue collection therefore across the state the posts should be filled. He said that subdivision level study of Ameen should take place and they should be provided training.

The Chief Minister said that the traditional heads like Manki Minsa Gram Pradhan and Dakuwa should get the honorary sums on time and on the first day of every month the money should reach their bank accounts and this should be ensured by the DC.

He asked the officials to make an analysis of the population of Tana Bhagats in the state and also provide the details regarding the schemes which have benefited the members of the community. He said that the process to benefit the community with different schemes should be expedited while the guest house conducted in Banhora should be handed over to the Tana Bhagats as soon as possible.
