CM asks officials to solve 95 pc complaints

Ranchi, May 2: On the occasion of completion of two years of the
functioning of the Jan Samwad Kendra Chief Minister Raghubar Das asked
the official to achieve a target of solving 95 per cent of the
complaints.
Addressing the Sidhi Baat Programme at the Suchana Bhawan here he said
that 78 pc of the complaints registered at the Jan Samwad Kendra have
been successfully solved therefore efforts should be made to attain 95
pc solving rate. Speaking on the occasion IPRD Principal Secretary
Sanjay Kumar said that in the last two years a total of 1,27,299
complaints have been registered out of which 78.06 pc complaints have
been successfully solved.
IT Secretary Sunil Barnwal said that last year the complaint solving
ratio was at 59 pc which has now increased to 78.06 pc. He said that
for continuous 52 weeks weekly reviews were done and now teh complaints
have been classified so that as per area the complaints can be
registered.
On the occasion a complainant women who had received widow pension
after 14 years and people from various other districts expressed their
thanks towards the Chief Minister and the Jan Samwad Kendra helping
them to solve their problems.
During the programme over a complaint from one Puja Kumari who was
left by her husband after marriage the Chief Minister to pay a grant
of Rs 1 lakh. Over a complaint from Palamu where it was said that
result of LLB-part 2 and part-3 had not been published for the last 27
years he asked the secretary of the higher education department to
solve the issue.
The Chief Minister also ordered to arrest those police officials and
jawans who were found guilty of power theft. Assistant electrical
engineer Jainandan Kumar Singh who had registered a complaint against
these policemen alleged that he was being mentally harassed to which
Mr Das said that he was doing a good job and would be felicitated and
directed the officials to make sure that he was not harassed and
assured that rule of law would prevail in the state.
Over a complaint from Gumla regarding the rape and murder of grand
mother and her grand daughter he asked the SP to make sure that the
DSP regularly visits the police stations and fix responsibility of
inspectors and sub-inspectors. Over another complaint from Gumla where
it was pointed out that assistant engineer posted in Gumla
NagarPalika Arjun Prasad was murdered by Maoists in May 2013 but his
depnednts had yet not got job or compensation to which he ordered to
solve the matter within a week. In a complaint from Deoghar of Shanti
Devi he said that she would get benefit of Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana
after it was found that he house was forcefully captured by one Hemlal
Sharma.
