Classes up to class 8 closed in all schools till further orders

Ranchi: Class 8 studies in all categories of schools running in Jharkhand have been stopped till further orders.

Its order was issued by Education Secretary Umashankar Singh.

This instruction will remain in force with effect from April 30, 2024, until further orders.

It has been said that there is a possibility of adverse effects on the health of the students due to extreme heat and heat waves in the state.

Keeping this in mind, classes from KG to Class 8 in all categories of government, non-government aided/unaided (including minority) and all private schools running in the state are postponed till further orders.
